So I'm about to have these other 3 kids for 96 hours straight every 4 days... all because their parents work nights and sleep days and don't want to have to lose sleep over having their kids during the day. So since she stopped breastfeeding the baby, I have him all day. Plus it's now summer vacation so I have the 5 year old and 4 year old all day too. This is going to be a long summer!!! $800 a month is not going to cut it.

I'd say your only making about $8.50 a day per kid. Less if you have to provide snacks and meals.

@batmom16 by "day" are you counting all 24 hours? Or just 8 hours? Because they live with us while their parents work. We even had to get a bed for them as well. And yes I have to give them meals and snacks and any and everything to entertain them.

@rikki. @batmom16 @glamari Yeah I basically raise the kids now. The parents work 4 days on and get 4 days off... I have them starting around 8 am on the 1st day all the way untill 6am on the 5th day. The kids don't even see their parents the whole time I have them. Yesterday the 4 year old even called me her new mommy and said she loved me, I told her not to say that and to call me Mrs. K like always though because I don't want her saying that... idk if I should tell her mother about it though.
