Id say a 1. I got the epidural and went to sleep. They had to wake me to push and 3 minutes later i Was holding my 9 lb son. Everyone is different so don't be afraid 💛
My first time was a 5-6(epidural), second I’d say 8-9(epidural wore off bc it wasn’t placed correctly), and my third was definitely a 10, if not 20! I was induced with Pitocin and dilated too quickly for the epidural to catch up with me and got it too late, I had an anterior placenta and the baby was face up so his head was pressing up against my spine and tailbone and also gave me a second degree tear.
@lexii18, I’m telling you though, when they say it’s time to push, you get in the zone and start looking forward to relief! The pushing didn’t hurt as bad as the contractions. The whole time during contractions, I didn’t care if I died cause I hurt so bad. The only thing that gave me strength was a religious song that I never heard was in my head playing over and over. I really feel my mom and god were there keeping me going. My second labor was just a nightmare. I had a horrible anesthesiologist who was telling me I was an addict cause my epidural wasn’t working!! But with my first, the pain was horrible but not as bad. I progressed so fast. The nurse came to put the monitor on my daughters head and lifted up the sheet and I was crowning lol. But when you get that baby on your chest, you are so overwhelmed with love that you don’t care what just happened.

@lexii18, with my first, I was induced and had a walking epidural. The 2nd, I was induced and my epidural failed. Ended up having to push at 8cm and got 5 stitches. Had contractions for 24 hours after birth.
My second was 15 as I didn’t think I was going to make it through the pain. I had no time for pain meds or anything
I went natural, ID say it was a 8 for me. But as soon as that babies on your chest you don't feel anything anymore
@mamaofzuri, i wanted to try water birth too, but I’m scared lol
Induced with No meds twice by choice, insanely painful but I did it 💪🏽
@lexii18, I didn’t even know it was a thing! I was so pissed. Now I have back pain for no reason lol
@amouryaya09, oh god😩 that’s what I’m scared about 😂 getting the epidural & the medicine goes away before i start pushing
Probably a 7. I went natural, no pain meds, no augmenting
47. Natural the first 7 hours. Tapped out and got the epidural bc i wasn’t progressing
@lexii18, somewhat, I had an epidural but it wore off by the time I pushed so I felt everything! 😫
@lexii18 personally pushing hurt the least
