Does anyone know what this rash may be? It's blanching but it's irritating my daughter. She's had piriton for it. I thought at first it may be an allergic reaction but we've not changed anything still the same washing powder, conditioner, suncream, shower gel etc so I'm not sure what it's a reaction too?!
@angelh it's not near her private parts just on her leg. She's had eczema before and it doesn't look the same at all. My mum's a children's nurse thankfully she's told me to get her straight to the doctors bless her. So hopefully they can shed some light xx
@catherineln25, yeah he was really miserable. Nappy changes turned into a nightmare as he wouldn’t let me clean his bits whatsoever. But it doesn’t have to be thrush it could just be something simple as eczema. But my boy had it for 3 days straight and I just thought there was something wrong as it wouldn’t disappear no matter what I tried. I just got it down to it might be the pampers nappies or something. I would just get it checked out if it stays any longer. xx
@jodiedillon3 It's raised and has a texture. She hasn't got a sore throat but she's been in the wars all week after an allergic reaction to her injections. That's just settled down and now this has come on xxx
@angelh was he really upset with it and miserable? She hasn't stopped crying and won't let you touch het leg xxx
My son has had the exact same rash the other week. Went to the doctors and was told it was thrush. Was prescribed a steroid cream and it was gone within the day. Not saying it could be thrush but the rash looks similar. Hope she gets better soon xx
@jodiedillon3 I picked her up from the childminders at 4pm and that's when I noticed it. She's been very clingy, Crying a lot I mean she's a toddler she has her usual tantrums but there's been a lot of crying this evening. She's normally fine in bed she knows 7pm is bed time and she spent 2 hours just crying in her room tonight x
I suffer from impetigo and it doesn't look like that how long had it been there ?
@egw.mmh she's had eczema in the past it's a different type of rash. Isn't impetigo caught from someone else? Would it not be in other areas of her body? It's only this one place? It seems to be spreading x
@catherineln25, ohh good. Aww I hope she feels better soon. Nothing worse than seeing a little one in pain. xx
