let's have a vote who has watched 13 reasons why? And would you recommend it to someone? yes or no?

I won't watch. I've already lived it in real life. Suicide shouldn't be an entertaining show. I don't care how many of my own friends say it's awesome, personally, I won't watch.

@taylorsmommy1017 I've heard that, and I know they say they want to raise awareness, but it's still meant to be entertainment.

Also, like I mentioned, I've already lived suicide and attempted suicide by friends. I have PTSD from these situations, exasperated by a traumatic birth. I also have generalized anxiety disorder before all this as well. I'm basically a classic mental health case. I'm in therapy and on medication for all this. (Have been for a while) so I don't need a tv show to add to it. I also won't watch This Is Us.

Season 1 was better than season 2 ... i hope they don’t make anymore because it was just heartbreaking to watch some of it

I've seen a few episodes not my cup of tea. I know they said they made it for education phrpsies but I kind of agree with @mermaidmeshy on this suicide should not be a form of entertainment. Some of the scenes scenes are way to much

Yes I have watched it and I do recommend people to see it yes it and yes I know it might not be some people's cup of tea but it also raises awareness of what does happen and how lot of people just sweep it aside. I know it is hard to watch especially with people being in certain situations like that but it also says to watch it with someone. I guess I believe if more people have watched it not for just entertainment to actually know what goes on maybe a lot of this stuff wouldn't happen or be pushed aside and people might actually start taking action. But that's just my opinion everybody has a right to their own.

I've seen both seasons of it, and I have really mixed feelings on it. It does have scenes that are hard to watch, but it does call for the viewer to be more empathetic. It raises a lot of good talking points. But again, the subject matter itself is difficult. I don't think I'd recommend it to someone, but if they were watching it anyways, I'd love to discuss it with them and get other insight.
