I plan on breast feeding and absolutely have to get on birth control this time around... I want an IUD, but I've never heard a single good experience with them 😑 stressful.

@wheelercharle4, I’ve had the Nuvaring, depo, and the pill. So far, paragard has been the best. I had migraines, depression and constant bleeding on depo. Migraines and severe nausea and vomiting with nuvaring and the pill also gave me migraines, depression and nausea. I’m extremely sensitive to synthetic hormones. Even on mirena, while I wasn’t getting the whole dose because it was in my pelvis I had headaches, nausea and depression. It was awful. Also with how it’s inserted, I find the paragard to be safer.
@babymamaof4 I haven't had any issues with it. I don't have a period currently. But was told at first it may make them heavier than before.
@mommytotheo I loved the implanon, I had it before it was nexplanon lol. I got pregnant and miscarried with it though, and when they took it out I bled for 6 months straight. I wonder if it has changed any since then because that was over 7 years ago.
Everyone i know that had them as loved it they kept getting it. My aunt got one after her son who's 13 now and she hasnt had q single issues. Ive found when researching all people want to do is share the bad and not good. Talk to your dr about it abr see what they say. I have the Nexaplon and I love it. My sis in law had it as well and breast fed for 2 years with it

My sisters IUD floated out of her uterus and she ended up getting pregnant on top of that and have endometriosis.. so much for her not being able to have kids...
Those are the kinds of things that make me really skeptical lol
@mswedes I had a friend that just went through that with the Skyla. I worry a lot because everytime I've ever been on bc it causes me major bleeding issues, and if I get an implant it won't be as easy to just stop using/taking it.
I had a terrible experience with mirena. (Had to have it surgically removed) now I have the paragard and love it. Yes my bleeding is heavy but at least it’s only when I have my period. On mirena I was bleeding constantly because it tore through my uterus and was in my pelvis.
@bhtslove, the paraguard is the last one I had and I had major heavy bleeding and it was so painful and I was told it’s normal, do you have the same issues?
My very first one was a good experience but my two after that were horrible and my last I only had it in 4 of the 10 years and ended up pregnant anyways but I love my baby so I can’t complain too much
I have Paragard. Which is an IUD, hormone free though.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
