Just got home from hospital, contractions 5 min apart so painful 4 cm walked in the hospital for hour and half no change…

I was Sent home with my daughter twice. In active labor but with both of my daughter's my body stopped dilating. So finally I went in and my mom God love her told them I wasn't leaving. I was for sure in labor just not dilating.. I feel your pain it's horrid when that happens😭 and my water has never broke without them doing it so I think it's crazy they sent you home !!

@salogogo, trust your instincts, you’re the only one who knows your body. If you feel like your baby is coming anytime soon go in. Don’t mind them at all.

@leslyev92, @bsandra, i got it done in my daughter 38 weeks 3 cm . Was light contractions for two days and my water started leaking. The nurse said we give epidural even when we can see babies head im like wow great imagine how much pain ur in and u have to stay still for the shot 😡

@leslyev92, i think it depends how dilated you are!!! I got it with my son but it’s been like 10 years😅

@salogogo, isn’t it too late to get an epi after your water breaks ?!

I’m a section mom so I have no idea about all that tbh.

@salogogo, okay not too bad, just stay on top of your contractions and if you really feel like you need to be there I would stay and tell them the pain is excruciating and if they could give you something for the pain even if it’s not the epi yet

@salogogo, that’s insane. I’ve seen people go from 4-10 in nothing!

@salogogo, sometimes I feel like they don’t understand our needs! Like they aren’t in pain🙄🙄🙄 You should get hot bath or a hot shower, it helps a lil

@salogogo, make sure to track your contractions and go back if you feel the need to but them JUST sending you home it would discourage anyone. Hospital isn’t too far away I hope.

Wth.... that’s not good. That happened with my daughter I wouldn’t dilate and I was stuck at 4.... so they sent me home but they gave something to at least help with the pain so I could get some rest

@leslyev92, im so tired really I wish I could relax or sleep im laying here and contraction every couple min makes me want to cry. And nurse goes if they get even worse come back like are u f kidding me how worse u trying to have them so i cant stay still for epidural 😒😩😢

Did they give you anything to at least help with the pain?

What’s the most upsetting is that they won’t let you stay there so they can monitor you, instead they send you home! 😒 it’s like they don’t even wanna deal with it so they rather send you away. Relax now and in the morning try to do some more light walking to see if it’ll help some. I know it’s painful 😓 I’m sorry! You are almost there. Like Friday is just a few days away 🙄 ugh I can’t. This makes me so upset.

@amberspringer, thats what I said to her I said im 4 already I feel so much pressure and pain its my second baby i want epidural done I said will there be enough time she goes yeah 🤦🏻‍♀️im like no point in taking to her

I hope you can make it back to the hospital in time! I swear some of these hospitals are going to get sued

So you can be 4 cm dilated, contractions 5 mins apart and they will still send you home?! I’m never going to l&d they will just piss me the fuck off! Hope you go into labor soon so you can be out of this pain ☹️
