Def not something heavy, I would stay away from dairy as lots of kids have allergies or are lactose intolerant. The owner of my sons football team provides snacks and it’s always fruits sometimes it’s an apple sometimes a cup of watermelon or mixed melons, grapes etc. For drinks they provide water & Gatorade.

Oranges were what we use to get, water melon. Dairy is to heavy I think to eat and run after. Something hydrating and fresh...

When I was in sports as a kid, we always had sliced oranges to snack on during the game. I dont remember what drinks other than water.
