We do the Walmart grocery pickup. You shop online and then go pick it up for free. They load the groceries into your car. It's SO NICE to have your pantry right there for reference and it really helps us stay on budget. Plus they give you about 3 hours to complete your order. I will never go back to grocery shopping in store.

Set a budget. Make a grocery list before you go and know the prices of everything your getting before you get it. Don’t impulse buy while you’re there lol. I use to set a $20 grocery budget for the week when it was just my husband and I lol. Now it’s $150 every two weeks.

Make a list of what you plan on cooking through the week, list the ingredients and everyday necessities. Look for stores with low prices and try to stay in that budget. I laid back on unnecessary junk foods and stuff like that.

Meal plan. Pinterest has tons of pre made ones. Make list. And never go hungry. I will spend an extra $100 sometimes if I go hungry.

@keilaa, No, they don't charge you. They fulfill your order and don't upcharge the products at all. It's completely free - you just pay for the groceries. I wouldn't do it if it costed extra.

Writing a list helps a lot also may not seem like it but buying items in bulk helps to save money too because you have to refill less often u could also do coupons sometimes apps like neither and cvs have it to where u can digitally clip the coupons and it's right there on ur phone when u need it

I go once per week to the grocery store and I come up with our meal plan/what I need to buy for the week before I go. This helps me from buying too much or wasting food.
