Ladies, my youngest son, his dad is in jail. How do I terminate his rights when he’s in there?
Reason why; he’s a druggie. Yes I know he’s in jail, and hasn’t done drugs in almost a year, but he’s not sober from it.. he’s just absent. And he’s told me many times that when he gets out in September this year, he’s gonna find me and beat my ass.. and take my son from me.. but he’s also denying his child too... I just don’t want that kinda person in my sons life. Ya know?
If I were you, I'd get a FPO against him & do nothing about his rights. Let him try to take you to court. He may not be willing to pay the money or make the effort to do so. Unless you're 100% sure you'd win full custody with no visitation, it's not really worth the risk. Plus having a longstanding FPO against him at that point, him threatening you, him being a druggie, incarcerated, & then if he makes no effort to see his kid, etc all helps you out in the event he tries to take you to court instead.

@crai, @livefast, thank you, yeah he’s said it on the phone when he called me and he said the jail records every phone call, so there’s proof right there.. he’s verbally abusive right now and his mom has told me that he can be physically abusive too and it’s not that I’m scared of that because if a man ever hit me, I’d show him what’s up.. but I just don’t want my child to see what his dad will do to me. And I sure hell don’t want my child near him if he’s gonna be that way. My toddlers father, my first and second born, he wants to adopt Logan and be his dad and talk to his lawyer about the rights thing. I’m okay with it, because he’s a better father than this POS.😩
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
He's in jail It's been almost 2 years since I've received any sort of communication with my son, that I gave up for adoptions parents. Yesterday was my birthday and guess what I woke up to this morning? An email from his parents. I was so excited until I opened the email to find out that they are writing to let me know he's been sentenced to a juvenile detention center. Why you may ask? Armed robbery. Clearly they are doing a stellar job raising my kid ????
Ladies I need advice I am so stressed out and so upset. My mans ex is giving out his number to strange men and telling them to pretend that they know me and they text my man nasty things and say that I know them and that they had sex with me but I don’t know anyone from this area since I just moved here a couple of months ago. I am at loss and so afraid that he’s gonna leave me I keep breaking down..
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
Ladies I’m in some doubt my partner of 5 years has a habit of hiding his phone and stuff when he goes to sleep is that a sign of something to hide im pregnant with his 3rd son I just don’t know what to do anymore and it constantly all the time I can never get why he does it he’s been doing it from the start even from when I was pregnant with our 1&2nd son but I still stayed with him cos I didn’t think anything of it and now 5 years later he still does it😪💔 A desperate mama looking for answers 💔💔

Agree with everyone here -- you need a family lawyer. It was a family lawyer that helped my husband get full custody of his kids from their alcoholic, drug addict mother. It's expensive, though.
