Trying to figure out when everyone became doctors? 🤔🙄 bc apparently asking for exercise tips on labor is completely wrong when I’m getting induced at the end of the week or the beginning of next week. I’m 36 weeks today! My baby has no room to grow & her staying in to complete full term will do more harm to her than good. I believe in the 4 doctors that have told me what’s best for my baby, than anyone else’s opinion. I don’t want to be induced with drugs if I can do it myself. I knew about this for awhile. & just trying to get tips for other mamas that might help with my situation.

My sons growth slowed and I was almost induced but I went into labor before hand. I was putting the evening primrose pills directly into my vagina. It doesn’t induce labor, the oil helps soften your cervix. You have to pierce the pill first then shove it straight up there. I walked up and down stairs and did some stretches and such on a yoga ball to help guide him into my birth canal. I still required pitocin but I think the oil helped soften everything and helped me avoid tearing as bad. Hope it helps!! Don’t let people discourage you from doing what your doctors suggest. ❤️

People swear they know YOUR body....sometimes things are just different depending on the person and the baby. Go with your gut mama. Some people just need attention....but to your question, with my last baby I wasn't very active whatsoever, so when I tried doing squats and walking in the end , it didn't really work. But this baby I've been on my feet and very active alot, doing lots of walking and now he's dropped real low at 36 weeks. Nobody seems to think I'll make it it to my due date and honestly I don't either the more I have to move around. Have you tried the baby dance? Not sex, but the actual song and dance? I swear by it, because nothing worked with that last baby until I started doing the baby mama dance and a couple days later I was in active labor

My baby was always very high and the only thing that ever made him drop was rolling my hips on a ball. Even though he would just go back up and he ended up being stuck trying to come out face first and thats why he wouldn't drop so I did that for nothing lol but if baby is in the right position it should help

I was supposed to be induced because my baby was measuring large. But my water broke on its own the night before the induction at 38 weeks. I think it was due to the hot bath I took that night. I was miserable with back pain. She was 9lbs.

Lol, after making a post earlier this week I found that nearly half the people on here think they’re doctors. It’s very annoying... but don’t let the negativity get to you ❤️

Just curious but I’ve never heard of running out of space in there. Why do they think you have no more space? Don’t we keep stretching? Or is it they are concerned baby won’t fit through birth canal? Again just curious not judging

Walk up some hills!! Although I had my membrane scraped at 39 weeks and my some was born at 39w 4d. Closer to 40 but like you said, your doctor's are your best consultants. Have you looked into accupuncture? Maybe a couple of rounds might help prepare you. I know my midwife might offer it to me soon. Good luck mom!

@raquely, I’ve said I was miserable once in my doctors & they told me I did it to myself. & I asked for it when I got pregnant. Especially with how close my pregnancy’s are together.

@crai, I know. All I’ve been doing right now is exercise to help her drop down more. I’ve been doing evening primrose 3 times a day once a week. You’re supposed to do it everyday. But I rather stay away from taking stuff like that. I go to my ob tomorrow & see what he believes I should do. She gets her 3rd anatomy growth ultrasound done again. So I’ll know more. We are pushing for 38 weeks. But she might not make it if we do so

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

Really don't like the negative judgment that comes when you tell people your trying to induce labor 😳😳😳 Of course I don't think it's OK to be trying super early when it's not safe for baby or doing dangerous things to induce but I don't think the judgment is necessary. 😧😧 I started trying to induce this week (I'll be 38 weeks in less than 2 days) and have talked about it on here and Facebook with friends and family. And almost all the responses are negative (thankfully not on here actually but I have seen multiple posts with negative connotations towards women who try to induce here) 😓😓😓 So I thought I would explain myself to show why I don't think you should judge. I have a lot of health problems and my doctor wasn't sure I would go into labor on my own. I have been seeing her at least once a week. It was going well I was dilated to 2cm and having some contractions naturally. Unfortunately they stopped completely and I am now dilated down to less than 1cm. It doesn't seem like I'm making any progress at all. And if I don't before my next visit my doctor wants to schedule an induction. I really am against induction by medical means. Even pitocin is just to much to me. So I'm trying to jump start things naturally to avoid induction. I'm not necessarily trying to make her come now I just want enough progress that my doctor won't have to use chemicals. Of course I understand people are against trying to induce early either way but I personally feel it's safer than giving pitocin to my child. 🙅🙅🙅 I don't expect everyone to agree and that's completely ok. I just think that sometimes people don't know the entire situation before they judge and start making mamas feel bad.
