Who has the nexplanon implant right now? I have some questions!

I have it. What's up?

So i got it around april 24 and ive had my period for almost two weeks. Is this normal?

I had it. And yes. It’s normal. I had my period for like 3 weeks then it completely went away

@itsdestyn, was it heavy or just regular?

But every woman’s body is different. Some still have irregular periods, some don’t have it all.

Did you break out too or no?

It was kinda heavy. It wasn’t until the last week it was normal.

I didn’t break out. I gained a lot of weight tho. Like I could eat and wouldn’t be full😂

Cuz im also breaking out! ☹️ i feel like removing it but i dont wanna get pregnant again so soon lol

@kiki221 not bad I bleed on and off for 2 weeks ive had it for 2 months and i haven't bleed since then. My face broke out some no weight gain so far I've actually lost more weight with it

Cuz im already going a lil over two weeks with first spotting then full period and still have medium/light period. ☹️

@kiki221 i bled everyday, it took my sex drive away completely, i was very very irritable and my depression got waaayyy worse.

@wvgirl, oh wow. how long did you have it for?

@kiki221 I was told I could bleed for the first 2 months.

@kiki221, I’ve had it since December 2017 and I might be getting it removed next month because of complications 🤦🏼‍♀️ otherwise I love it

@wvgirl, what do you use now?

@kiki221 nothing. I tried the pill and it made me really sick and then the nexplanon and it was horrible. I actually had a dr tell me not to do the depo shot or iud

I had it. Every time something was wrong with me. I’d get a weird welted patch that got itchy over the implant. I think that was just because my immune system was fighting things off and that was a foreign body so it would react. Didn’t notice weight gain. Didn’t break out bad but I don’t do well with hormonal birth control. It turned me into a psycho! My periods stopped at first but then the last three - four months of having it I had constant bleeding. I had a rough time with it. Had it taken out in may of 2017 and got pregnant in july 2017. I had it put in early 2016. So a little over a year I had it in.

I just got mine put in for the second time!

@kiki221, nope after that period it was gone. Until I removed it Jan then had my period in Feb and now I’m pregnant already 😂

@kiki221, about a week an a half off and on
