Sounds like my chunky monkey! I fed my baby on demand that whole schedule thing didnt cut it for him he was fussy and never got sleep. He drinks 4-6 oz now every two hours but if he crys ama give it to him :)! His weight is good so im not gonna give him cereal that’s unnecessary calories w no nutrition, dont want him overweight w unnecessary things.

@proudmomof2boyz, pace feeding isn’t holding him off. Pace feeding is how you handle the bottle, control the feed etc. it should take 5 mins per ounce and a burp between every ounce. It takes about 15-20 minutes before the hormones are triggered to tell them they are full. I would google it. Like I said, once you’ve stretched their bellies, it leads into feeding solids way too early and damaging their guts. Solids shouldn’t be given until 6 months.

@proudmomof2boyz, and I hated when my pediatrician would tell me that I’m feeding him too much. When ever she would weigh him she said his weight was good and never “too fat”. So I’m not gonna starve my baby just cos she dosnt want home giving him so much milk lol

@njgriffin, my other son did that too lol and I sure this one will too he’s not chunky they both are just big boys lol

Even when he started eating solids for a morning bottle or night bottle he would still take down 8oz lol he was always so chunky @proudmomof2boyz,

@laniejay, I hold him off as long as I can he eats 3 hours apart and holds it all down and isn’t fussy after he eats like he wants more the doctor told me he will be eating 6oz before his 4 month check up my other son was so Much easier and we did cereal at 3 months and jar for at 5 and he is almost 2 right on track with his weight

Are you pace feeding? Bottle fed babies are easily over fed and their bellies get stretched out. Starts the dangerous ideas of feeding them solids way too early.

When my first son was 2mo he would always drink 8oz 😳 I guess some babies are hungrier than others

My son would eat a lot too and I always thought what he wanted was too much for his age but he began losing weight so I ended up just giving him what he wanted and he was increasing ozs every other week. By 4 months he was on 8oz with a little cereal in his bottles then at 5 months 9oz with a little cereal in his bottles as well as a bowl of cereal every morning and baby food once a day if he wanted it.

I was like os it ok I thought so cause he isn’t spitting up or anything lol I call him a black hole

My sons a month and a half and he eats 5-6 oz ever 2 hours lol

My other son was on cereal when he was 3 moths and on baby food at 5 months can’t wait to my baby is on cereal
