The nhs do amazing work... saving lives, welcoming babies, making life altering even life saving decisions everyday!.. they should be recognised!
But..
What about the ones who fail us in the nhs.. what about the ones that let people down, misdiagnose, make the wrong choice, I'm sure thers plenty of people praising them tonight but im sure theres also plenty of people left with dire consequences due to failings of the nhs!
Think it's individual and a complete pick of the draw!

My nan is blind in one eye, can’t move her arm and leg because the NHS misdiagnosed her, gave her a brain operation when she didn’t need it, ended up having a bleed on her brain! 😩🙈

My dad almost lost his leg because they told him he had a trapped nerve for 3 months and he atually had a blood clot the lead his leg to slowly die and he had five heart attacks because the blood couldn't get to his heart properly !

@ellieseandamelia aww that's awful. I've dealt with misdiagnoses myself with the nhs. It's awful!!!
I hope that shes ok... considering... and i hope they gave her some sort compensations! I know it would never make up for it x

@jodiedillon3 It's shocking... what about acknowledging ther errors.
It's awful... I dont trust any Dr tbh. I've had a few major misdiagnoses myself over the years... it's not acceptable x

@vixster Yea i agree in between far and few ther may be good.
The Dr who delivered my baby saved his life and i truly believe he wouldn't be here.. nor would I if it wasmt for her!
Luckily she was a visiting Dr and i was so lucky to have her.
There's been many occasions where theyv been wrong unfortuantly not all id want to discuss... when I was younger I had a brain tumour.. I told them for yrs about my headaches... dizziness.... diminishing vision
... for 2 years they told me stress.... 2 years!!!!
Lucky its benign but its a very long time to be misdiagnosed with somthing in your brain.
It's also been a battle to get my son diagnosed correctly after he would choke and go blue every morning. After 12 months of fighting and crying only now have I found a Dr who will listen.
I'm glad ypu have been looked after by them... that's healthcare I wish I'd experienced myself its a shame the system is not consistent x
