Why Am I Feeling Alone in My Pregnancy?
Rant beginning... So I’m almost 23 weeks pregnant with my first child. I live about 2.5-3 hours away from my boyfriend due to school and i also work part time... He has came to visit me 3 times since August I used to go up once or twice a month before i found out i was pregnant in February and got my part-time job, he’s missed 3 of the 5 doctor appointments I’ve had (including the gender ultrasound) and he didn’t bother come visit me this long weekend and he wonders why I am upset. He blames me for the arguments because I am so frustrated and done with feeling alone through this pregnancy... I want this to work but I also don’t want to do everything alone and do everything one-sidedly... Rant over...

@mommy1991, its hard cause we’ve been together for 3 years, lived together for 2 and i only moved for school... i stopped going up every month in march because it cost so much in gas and with work and school im just soo tired... when i asked what he did this weekend he said he sat at home... like am i really not that important to come see... i feel really hurt and i dont know if im over reacting or not...
You either want a baby or you don't. There's no in between. And since you're pregnant I'd let him know to get on board or gtfo.
If it was me I would be very concerned. Either be in this or don't. And if I was gonna be a father I would want to know how my baby was developing and I would want to see it's little heart beating and see it move around in my girlfriends tummy. I would want to be involved every step of the way.
