C-section after vaginal delivery mamas

How was your c-section experience? Like was the recovery easier or harder vs your vaginal delivery? Do you still have pp bleeding? Was there just a big gaping wound? I mean, like what holds it together and did you cover it with bandages? Ughhhh. Just tell me anything about a c-section that pops into your head.
