co-dependent

Anyone realize how much they've had to (or just in general I guess subconsciously?) Depended on their SOs or DHs for everything, finances, housing (as in finding or keeping), food, anything basically your SO/DH handles everything bills etc. And how much they hate it now? I hate that he holds all the money and pretty much has the final say in what happens with it....I'm starting to see he can't handle it. Not only that I just hate how I don't know how to do adult things because I've let him handle it (met when I was 18 going on 19 he was 25 going on 26) all because I was scared...but due to letting him handle everything I feel like it's royally messed up my life and if I had just handled everything for us that maybe we wouldn't be in such a bad place currently....and idk how to talk to him about it idk how to initiate a change now after two years of allowing him to handle everything....help?
