First ultrasound this Thursday

Hello everyone. Our gestational carrier is 6 weeks tomorrow. Our first ultrasound is Thursday and my husband and I will be traveling to her state for the ultrasound. I have had 5 losses, all in the 5th week of pregnancy so I have never made it to the heartbeat ultrasound. I have PTSD from all I've been thru (8 transfers, 5 losses) and I'm scared to pieces that we won't hear a hb or this won't work out. I know it's the furthest we have come but my mind can't help but go to the worst possible place! Ultrasound will be at 6 weeks 5 days. Even though we're pregnant with a gestational carrier it feels as though I'm the one pregnant and I feel 100% connected and think about our baby every second.

UPDATE: Hey lovely ladies! Figured I would stop by to give y'all a quick update! I am 12 weeks pregnant today! We had a scan at 8 weeks and everything was perfect. I have also been able to hear my sweeties heartbeat since 8w5d! My next ultrasound is next Thursday at 13 weeks! We are also very excited to be announcing our pregnancy to everyone on Fathers day! & my oh my how those gorgeous babies of yours have grown!! Enjoy it ladies they grow so fast❤

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
