Estrogen patches question

Hi ladies...I'm wondering for those of you who use estrogen patches..does it matter where I put them? I try to do on my stomach closest to my uterus in hopes it will get to my lining quicker and help my lining that's normally on the thinner side. I put three patches on last night and then are probably 4 inches below my belly button so above pubic bone but it was one of the only spots left lol. So I'm hoping they aren't too low down to work.
