More kids

So my now husband said he’s done with kids. He has 3 (2 with his ex wife), but I felt, as much as I’m fond of my step kids, 1 is not enough. We got married last week and he said we can have another one if I want to (though he rather I don’t ?). He understands that I might want another one. I’m over the moon, although not ready to start trying yet ?
