Being a SAHM is definitely hard work and can be really trying at times. Make sure you're taking care of yourself too, mama. Can you take some time away on his days off? Maybe get an hour of quiet time to yourself when he comes home in the evening?

Have you talked to a dr yet about how you are feeling? Some of these feelings you are expressing are not the regular mommy feelings. You might be able to get some help and maybe feel better about your situation

I asked you some questions on another post but you never replied... Have you looked into the possibility of your baby having silent reflux?? My daughter used to scream all the time.. every night for hours, in her stroller, in her car seat, etc. Turned out she had silent reflux and as soon as she started medication the screaming fits stopped completely. Just something to look into.

I think its 100% normal to feel that way, but not everyday.

Hang in there mama. I know it’s hard and draining. It’s not always like this. If you’re having a very hard time coping, make sure you call your OBGYN asap. Hormones can really mess with us after we give birth. Post partum depression is very real

@ib.crazyskittles18, I thought I saw in a previous post that someone would watch him overnight occasionally? Maybe see if they can do that for you and take a night to yourself

Even if your bf is tired, you need to let him know you’re having a hard time. My DH was not able to know intuitively. I had to ask for help

My husband works a good 10 hour day and still comes home and helps bc we are a team. It may help if you can take the time you need while baby naps so you don’t feel like you’re burdening him w anything extra.

It’s not always going to be this way, I promise you. I went the first 10 months of my DDs life not gettin sleep bc she was a terrible sleeper and DH could not help me st night. I have a toddler too so life was draining and I felt like a zombie.

Even 15 mins of time away from the house will make a world of difference.

@phoebesmommy yea but hes struggling too he worked 46 hours last week so he needs sleep during the day cuz lots of times baby tosses and turns in the night so you have to constantly rock him

bunsinmyoven

BunsInMyOven

@ib.crazyskittles18, you could use more than sleep. Have you tried letting him know you’re struggling and would like some time during the day- just an hour for yourself to recharge? I’m sure he probably is sleeping too. But I would have a convo and ask for his help. If he can’t do an hour, maybe 30 mins

@ib.crazyskittles18, 😰 I can see why you’re having a hard time. Well, once those 8 hours are up and your bf is home, hand him the baby and go for a walk.

It’s normal to struggle with these feelings. Like these ladies said, you really need time for yourself. If you can take baby out for a walk, it’s helpful to get fresh air and my kids have always loved being outside so it’s a nice break from their needs

I know you’re having a hard time with the baby. So what’s going on now? Is he still not sleeping well?

Do you ever get time to yourself without your son? If not, you need to start taking some time! Even if it’s just an hour after your boyfriend comes home for you to take a walk or whatever, you need some time to unwind. Being a parent is a tough job.

Im sorry that you are going through a hard time, but you are a mother now. And taking care of your son comes first
