I’m DONE with FRERs. This is the third month in a row of getting evaps. I don’t trust them anymore . The evaps are still a little bit pink in person . It’s irritating . Anyone else quit FRERs ?

@girlygirl1988, yeah pcos can cause a ton of issues but if your partner is having issues with the cost of tests order a bunch of the strips on Amazon for the cost of one test in store
@iwannaplay, I don’t know if I really have the time to heavily obsess with an 11 month old active boy lol. I do have a history of PCOS though and I’ve heard that that can cause higher amounts of hormones . Maybe that’s it? 🤷🏼♀️
You can cause your body to think it’s pregnant by obsessing about wanting to be pregnant your body will create the hormones in small amounts that the test might be picking up
@iwannaplay, well I read it at approximately 4-5 minutes as I had been changing my baby’s diaper . I mean I don’t know what’s going on if this is valid . I’m wondering if my hormones are just screwed up. I still breastfeed my son once every 24 hours in the morning and have only had that one period which could have been a chemical . It lasted 4 days and was pretty intermittently heavy in the middle but very light on days 1 and 4 .
If you read the results in the window it says to on the test and not even a minute more you won’t have any evap lines since they haven’t had time to form yet. That’s the reason why all the tests say read between x minutes and x minutes. Every single test I ever took says don’t read after 10 minutes because that’s when the evap lines form and show
@taylorsmommy1017, maybe I’ll try blue , I’m just scared of evaps with those, but I guess I this point I have nothing to lose lol .
It’s so hard not to test because you really want to see those two lines
@racheltobie, yeah it’s disappointing. I told myself this month I’d hold off and only use dollar store cheapies and wait until those showed a bfp, and then I got impatient and caved for a frer lol. My husband wasn’t thrilled . He knows I have a poas addiction . He was like “ I can’t afford all these pee sticks that come out negative !!” Thanks a lot, hubs
Geez well that’s ridiculously annoying! Maybe wait a few more days and if you don’t get your period get blood work done
@racheltobie, the first month I got one of these I got what I wasn’t sure was a chemical or a period ... the line never got darker than that. The next month ( last month) nothing happened and no period occurred . Then this month I had a very very clear ovulation time on opks . Two days of blazing positives that then went away. I also got a uti and went to the doctor and got a negative pee test with them . Now I’m about 12-13 dpo and I got this .... since all three months I’ve gotten the same looking line , it feels like another evap
Honestly all brands get them. Frer seem to be the best in my experience.
I would call your dr and go get a blood test! That way you know for sure
Proof of another evap . I just started bleeding bright/dark red . Gah no more FRERs for me . I got a three pack . I will use the other two next cycle possibly and then never again .
