The baby's dad and I aren't intimate very often. We aren't together we had only been seeing each other a little over a month when I got preg. He wasnt very accepting of the pregnancy at 1st and has only recently come around. I'm usually not in the mood when I see him. Yesterday I was. I ended up on top and got tired/winded when it started getting good ? so I had to stop. No big deal right? Well me and my stupid hormones, I started crying like actual sobbing and I can't even explain why. I think I freaked him out lol. He was really nice about trying to console me. Normally I am not emotional at all but this pregnancy has me up and down all the time.

That happens to me too... My husband and I may be in the middle of things and then it hurts so I start worrying about the baby and I cry! He is nice about it but I feel bad.
My last pregnancy I was so worried that we were being too rough with sex that I cried for hours one time! Silly once you think of it but at the time it seems like the end of the world!

I haven't really had that problem yet but if you get worn out next time just try to switch it up and make him take control...kinda get freaky lol

definitely been there! both op and pp!! with our first especially and we'd only been together 4 months. it's a huge relief if he's good about it, even though nothing can turn off the tap sometimes. i remember the look of utter fear on my husband's (then bf's) face when i got the crazy giggles that dissolved into an all-out sobfest, and to this day he still can't see how close laughing and crying actually are.

Mlysa, sex is an emotional act for us women. If you have feelings for him and hadn't seen him, those waterworks are totally understandable. Especially with all the extra pregnancy hormones. Does that sound right? Don't beat yourself up or feel bad about it, it's perfectly natural to feel very deep emotions with the baby's father.

@clover, I do feel very strongly for him.He has been having a hard time with our situation. It was only supposed to be a casual thing and now it's turned into a lifetime. This is his first child and not exactly how he had envisioned it happening. I've been über nice and patient with him. I knew he would come around. I made sure he knew I was having her with or without his support. He assures me he will be there but I'm still keeping my guard up. Fri night just completely weirded me out because I just started bawling out of nowhere. This is my third child. There's an 11 year gap between my youngest and this baby. Those pregnancies were so easy. This one has been textbook; hormonal, aches and pains, morning sickness etc. I'm not normally emotional at all so this is so strange to me.
