Present after birth You have just given birth, what's something you would love to receive as a gift from a friend? ?

A nice cool or hot beverage depending on the weather...and for someone to take the other children (beside the new baby) and do something fun with them...or let me sleep and watch bubs and wake me when baby is hungry (but otherwise, let me sleep and take care of everything)

The last one is what my family does for me the first few days at least after Baby, and it is insanely helpful!

Peace and quiet.

I had family and friends over everyday for two weeks after I had my second.

I had this one friend in particular who would constantly be over because she 'wanted a baby to play with' all I wanted was to feed baby and sleep while my son was at kinder but with her around j couldn't. She's a talker ??????

We often send a big fruit box from an online company. Always goes down well.

A house cleaner! Even if it was only one visit, particularly if it was a spontaneous labour!

My best friend gave me the best gift after DD. Some amazing Lush shower gel, a pack of wet ones (episiotomy said hell no to nasty hospital toilet paper), and a heap of snacks. She knew what was up!

When my son was born* won't let me edit

Tbh the best gift people could of given me when I was born was time with my son without them all being around. Maybe some nappies or wipes.

Probably a kilo of smoked salmon and the biggest wheel of triple cream Brie.

Like gamer, take my other kids out for the day.

Lunch or movie

Some precooked meals ?

Some brie, quince paste and crackers. And a massage. Lol

A home cooked meal, fresh fruit, gift for older siblings, chocolate!!

I would love someone to take my older kids out for the day when this baby is born.

Food!

I think like a movie night box made; if not with movie tickets - a DVD, popcorn etc time to spend with their partners even if it is at home.

Delivery vouchers to restaurants..

Some cooked meals or a box of fresh fruit and vegies to save having to go down to do grocery shopping....

Housecleaner for a year

Yep hair or massage voucher or even just a basket of yummy snacks would have been appreciated.

A voucher for a massage, to get my hair done or my nails (pedicure). Obviously couldnt use it straight away but would give mumma something to look forward to
