i just woke up to.... need advice!!
ok so i just woke up and i sat up on the edge of the bed for a sec & when i got up completely i noticed something brown on the sheet and i was like waaait what is that so i used my phones flashlight and it was like a brown discharge....so i went to the bathroom and sure enough i am leaking a brown discharge w/ some of my mucous plug as well...i am 34 weeks and 3 days rn...has anyone else experienced this? should I call my doctor...this never happened w/ my other three kiddos so idk how to deal w/ it...should I be concerned? my second son was born during this gestation week but it was a complete water breaking moment...this is just different for me...slightly panicked...

Sorry y'all... UPDATE!! it was exactly what one of you said...broken vessels...everything is all good, she's still locked up good...my cervix is still closed for the most part and the loss of my mucous plug is normal...my amniotic fluid is low but it's an 8 so it's not that bad...they are gonna do a sonogram next week to check on her growth and fluids and other than that all is well...thanks for the advice ladies...got so busy in between...
Honestly, it's pretty normal. You can lose all or parts or your mucous plug at any point in pregnancy, it's not a sign that labor is imminent. It had some brown discharge in it because your cervix has lots of little blood vessels that can easily pop... Brown blood is old blood so that is good!
Also, if you aren't leaking any fluid or waters broken, then I would try not to worry!!
yea i think I'm going to call as soon as the office opens... I'm scheduled for a visit tomorrow... I'm gonna see what they say to do...
right lol... I want her to wait just a little longer lol..
