Im just over 39 weeks with number 2 and had a s & s yesterday afternoon apparently I was already 3 cm dilated as soon as my doctor did it I had a painful contraction. Since then I have been getting irregular contractions and back pain. I lost my mucus plug this morning and had some bloody show a couple hours later but my contractions are still all over the place along with constant period pain. My question is how many of you have had similar experiences after a s & s and gone into labor? I have been experiencing pain off and on for over a week so I'm pretty much over it now and I'm just desperate to hear positive experiences lol

I had a s&s the day before my due date because of high blood pressure and I was already displayed 2cm. That was at 4pm and my waters broke at 2am starting painful contractions a minute apart. Dd was born 6 hours later. Good luck!

This is pretty much what happened to me babe. Only I didn't start contracting till the next morning took forever for them to become regular.

I just had my second baby 4 wks ago.. At 37 weeks I lost my mucus plug and had on and off period pain.. 38 weeks 3 days my waters broke at home went to the hospital and was 3cm dialated.. I was induced for testing positive for Strep b

I had a s&s at 40+3 woke the next morning with Braxton hicks that turned into contractions then had baby 3 hours later

I am getting one at 38 weeks so keep me posted! hope I'm dilated enough!
