I've had this problem before, for girls i normally go to a cheap shop and buy them a little handbag and maybe a few hairclips or even a necklace, but boys are hard... But sometimes you can get them little plastic trucks, fairly good quality ones that don't fall apart for around $5-$10. Also bubbles are great and kids have hours of fun with bubbles an they're cheap!

I have been buying bath toys for the little ones I know. Big W and the like have cheap ones, granted I don't have 15 to buy for.

If it was me I'd be a tight ass and take the 'I won't be buying anyone gifts because it's very costly so please don't buy for my child' line. But that might get people off side.

Oh thanks guys, I don't know why I just went completely blank on what to get lol, I will definitely do a quick stop at kmart tomorrow morning. Hmmm I will just keep the outfit for my son 😕

I'd go to K-mart! So much cheaper. Could get some bath time books or something like that.

Why don't u speak with some of the other mums and all put in $$ for a bigger present?! I think given the circumstances it's quite an acceptable thing to do! If not photo frames (reject shop) and as pp said books!

Go to kmart you can find awesome clothes, things for the babies at as low as 3 bucks and u can't even tell the quality I think better than target!!! Good luck!!!

Books, you can get them from Kmart usually very cheap and most people think they are a good pressie.
