Baby not sleeping through the night
I am so tired!!!!!! My dd use to sleep all night and a few weeks ago started sleep regression. I don't know if it's teeth or what but I'm so tired I could die. She also needs to be rocked back to sleep in the middle of the night and it is killing me!!!! How do I get her back to sleeping through the night? I feel like a total zombie???
For use we did the Ferber method of sleep training. My almost 9 month old was getting up 2-5 times a night to eat and I started the sleep training about 2 weeks ago and now she will sleep from 7:30/8pm-5:30-7:30am and if she gets up at 5:30 I sooth her and she goes back to sleep somewhat quickly now. It took her about 5 days to really get it but I think it's because she sleeps in our room where my other 2 it only took them 3 days to start sleeping 12 hrs a night because they were in their own rooms.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Layla's never really fully slept through the night (like 7 pm- 7am night), at best she's woken up once & we were doing a dance we were so excited about it. It's prob just a sleep regression & will pass. Things that help us are the white noise machine, binky, essential oils & just rocking & comforting. Remember, sometimes babies have nightmares at this age & just need some snuggles. This phase won't last and someday we'll all long for the nights that they needed us!
