Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
When did you guys start buying things for your baby I want to start but I don't know what I'm having yet?
Is it necessary to start baby food at 6 months? I mean I know it's to get the baby used to solid food, but is that it? Have any of you waited? If so, when did you introduce it?

I've been wondering the same thing!

No teeth here and my baby girl eats table food. Soft foods. She can gum it. She hates purred food and just spits it out at me. She loves pick up food off her try and feeding her self. My son didn't have teeth till 11 months old and he did great on table food also

My LO has been reaching & crying for everything we eat since about 4 months. We gave her soft food just before 6 months but I really sensed she was ready at 5 months. She hates puréed foods, spitting it out & making mad sounds or clamping her mouth shut.
Her first teeth broke through right at 7 months. She can rip lots of stuff apart (cardboard, baby Mum-Mum crackers, tortillas) but I have to scoop a lot of it out of her mouth because the chunks are too big. She even gags on too-big pieces of strawberry or watermelon. I don't let her eat ANYTHING without watching her, not even mum-mums or other "dissolve in mouth" baby treats. Just be very careful & watch your baby closely to see if she's ready.

No teeth are needed to eat table foods! Baby gums are strong enough to mash up food without teeth. I have a toothless wonder who eats pretty much whatever we eat. Look up the difference between gagging and choking before you get started on table foods!

Children's gums can rip apart food.
My son doesn't get table food until over 1. Personally I don't think, salt, oil, bitter, herbs and spices are good for a baby to eat.
