Is It Normal for a 6-Month-Old Not to Roll Over?

Do some babies not roll

My dd is 6 months still not rolling from back to front. She is also not pushing up with her hands. My three-year-old son who has autism was rolling at this time and also crawling. He was also babbling and saying da da, which she isn't doing. She does sit up unassisted for long periods of time and rolls from front to back. I know all babies develop differently but I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? Some days are really stressful and the thought of having two kids in therapy really scares me. Thanks!

My 18 months old didn't roll over, she wasn't one for tummy time, so she a bit late with crawling as well, but when she started crawling which was about 6-7 months, she was 9 months old and she was walking. And she was 13 months old when she actually rolled over and that was because she was copying the dog lol so some babies don't roll over xx

Every baby is 100% different my son is 6 months almost 7 he rolled front to back one time he does it here or there he doesn't really enjoy being on his belly and seems to have no interest to crawl lol but I wouldn't worry my son can sit up by him self and he says hi and babbles but that's it :)

My daughter did roll until 6 months one way and 6.5 the other. She did not sit unassisted either.

But then she did and she was walking unassisted at 11 months.

My son was rolling at 3-4 months and sitting unassisted at 4 months. He finally walked at 13 months.

I don't think rolling late is an indicator of anything.

You really shouldn't worry at 6 months old. Babies do things at different times. My daughter didn't start crawling until 9 months. Give it some more time.

My 8 month old rolled early but he is not crawling and not saying mama or dada at all. He also didn't starting pushing up on his hands until a little over 6 months and didn't get on hands and knees until a week shy of 8 months. Every baby develops differently, don't worry about the rolling.
