Bad advice from ibclc ruined my supply
Ok so I had my dd on nov 23. Right away we had trouble with latching and bf was very painful. A nurse suggested a breast shield which helped with pain but didn't improve her nursing. I hired a ibclc and she suggested a supplemental nursing system and told me pumping was unnecessary. She was very wrong!!! Not only did she tell me my baby did NOT have a tongue tie when she clearly did she ruined my supply by misinforming me that if you supplement you don't need to pump. After a few days I realized my supply was gone and I've been struggling since to rebuild. I pump and nurse around the clock. I power pump, drink TONs of water, take yeast tablets, fenugreek tea and pills. I've seen little improvement in supply. I also had her tongue tie and lip tie clipped. It's been almost three weeks and I'm still struggling and thinking about giving up. Anyone else have the same struggle and get supply back?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

For some pumping is vital. I am one of them. It took me 4 kids to realize that. This is my 4th and last (born nov 27) and I have been pumping 4-5 times a day since I have come home from the hospital. Lo does have a tongue tie but I am not getting it clipped he is gaining weight just fine. I am so sorry you got misinformed. I would start taking some herbal supplements and pump away. Put baby to breast any chance you get even if baby isn't getting milk it will stimulate production.
