Anyone else have terrible swelling in their feet post csection. My csection was scheduled so they gave me 2 liters of saline via IV bolus to prevent low blood pressure in the surgery. I swelled up like crazy after that. How long does it last?

I had swelling too but preeclampsia, a check infection and pregnancy heart failure so I'm not the best to answer. I think if they don't go down in a week I'd call your Doc. They missed my preeclampsia for about a month. So if you have any other symptoms keep on them! Hope it's already getting better

Yep mine currently look like that! I had my c section wednesday and by friday they were like balloons i asked the nurse and ahe said it was normal due to the fluids given via i.v cant wait for the swelling to go down..its super annoying

Mine lasted about a week and a half after my c-section. Was told to drink water and to walk as much as I could.

My feet and ankles were pretty swollen for about 5 or 6 days after my c-section.

Yes! I was more swollen afterwards than I was my entire pregnancy. It went away for me in about a week or so after the surgery.

Yes! I had worse swelling after c section than I ever did pregnant, and that's saying a lot! For me it lasted a good week, maybe a little longer. It was really bad the first 5-ish days.

Happened to me too, I was terrified there was something wrong with me.. But it went away after about 5 days...

My legs and feet were swollen for a week after delivery. I had several bags of fluid during birth. I was induced and had a vaginal delivery. I believe postpartum swelling is normal except if it is painful or seems to be more on one half of the body than the other.

I had it for about a week. Was induced, vaginal delivery though

My feet got like that after I had my son, but not after this past c-section. It's normal and will go away

It's normal. I had a c section and that's what happened to me. Should be gone in a few days. I had compression socks on

I had a csection last Thursday and the same thing happened to me. My doctor told me it was normal but I had to walk around the hospital as much as i could to help reduce the swelling. It went away by Monday.

I've never had swelling after my csections. I'd call your doctor.
