UPDATE

So I had bloods taken on monday Tuesday and Wednesday and they were 1053, 1524 and then 2489. I also had an ultrasound and it showed a 5 week old sac. So I'm pretty excited at this point. Let's hope the next few weeks go well. Thank you all so much for your support ???

Thank you so much to all of you. Im am traveling the next few days so I can't get to the doctor unfortunately. I will go into my doctor first thing Monday morning. I'm very excited ?

I've had brown bleeding and went on to have a normal pregnancy!

I'd suggest making a doctors appointment to get bloods tested (and again a few days later) to make sure that they are rising as normal :-) will give a bit of peace of mind

Could just be implantation bleeding. Congrats and I hope everything goes well for you.

Oh and I also had severe cramps which made them worry but after a few tests, everything was fine and my cramping was completely normal. Again, congrats ?

With my first, we tried for a year.

I was at work and went to the toilet and had some brown blood in my underwear.. When I wiped there was also some light pinkish blood. I tested and it was positive and now my little girl is going on 2. It was implantation bleeding.

I did and it was implantation bleeding! Inshallah it is all good and is a sticky baby ✨

I'm currently 6w3d & have had a tiny bit of brown spotting on/off since Sunday. Like yours, its not all the time & it seems to only come out with cm. I had 2 mcs before this pregnancy & had been ttc for 5.5yrs so I understand the fear. Maybe mention it to your dr just to be safe but I read apparently 1 in 3 women experience some sort of implantation bleeding & brown blood is old blood. Hope you have a happy & healthy 9 months x

No personal experience with spotting, but it sounds like implantation bleeding to me - that's a nice strong positive, congratulations!!

(You can go to your GP and ask for hcg and progesterone levels checked if you want... I did this pregnancy as I'd had a previous miscarriage... It did give me reassurance to check the numbers were in acceptable levels)

I had lots of period style cramping with my pregnancies as well, I didn't have any spotting that early on, but as the other girls said it can be perfectly normal:)

Congratulations! I had spotting with my first pregnancy just before my period was due (probably implantation bleeding), then I would get random bleeding throughout my pregnancy.

It was scary, so I always mentioned it to my Dr just to be safe. Now I have a crazy 2 year old daughter. Fingers crossed for you and your Bub!

Yes, had spotting at the beginning.

It was put down to implantation bleeding and progressed with a healthy baby.

I had the brown discharge with my first. also had really dull period type pains around 4-5 days before my missed period. I tested 3 days after my missed period and got a strong positive like you. that bubba is now 3.5 years old ?
