need proposal ideas
Hi beautiful girls. I was just contacted by my little sisters boyfriend.. he is going to propose to her!!! He wants some ideas on how and where he can propose. Please give me some ideas
My oh sent me on a wild goose chase on an odd weekday so I didn't suspect him. It was via text message ie go to this train station walk down this street to this pub (I thought he was watching the cricket at this stage) and then realised the pub was at the Windsor and he sent go to this room no# which is when I clicked.
We have, since then, stayed at the Windsor for our anniversary.
Oh, these are so freaking sweet ?
My hubby had planned to propose all evening but everywhere we went there was a crowd.
We ended up going on the Wheel Of Gold Coast (which isn't there anymore). We'd done a full revolution and at the top of the second he pointed and asked what was behind me, by the time I'd turned back around he was on his knees and asked.
It was funny for us because while we were waiting in line, I hugged him and said 'this is the sort of place you'll propose, because you're all romantic like that' haha.
I told him the bridge climb idea and he loved it..... then he told her lol what an idiot. He cant keep surprises secrets
I love private proposals.
Do one of her favourite things...
if she loves bags buy a bag and put the ring in...same can go with shoes
If she loves coffee, buy an acrylic pen and write marry me on the bottom of a mug and do a breakfast in bed proposal
If she wants a puppy get a puppy and put the ring on the collar.
I love a spa in summer so my other half set up an outside cinema and fav movie, some champagne and proposed :) it was amazing ?
I told him about the bridge climb... just waiting for his reply
I know it should usually be something personal but hes a hopeless guy and wanted to take her to a thai restaurant lol she does not like thai.. so i wanted to help him
I also agree with B3cx. It depends on your sister's personality. My husband cooked me a yummy roast for dinner and then proposed afterwards just at home with him and I. It was perfect for me. I would have hated it to have happened in public. I hear of public proposals and think they are so romantic but just not for me.
Edit: My husband also asked for my dad's permission which meant a lot to my dad and myself.
My hubby and i went to the movies and then got a takeaway pizza and drove to the beach,he said he had to meet his brother there to bring him some fishing tackle apparently ?. It was night time so we ate in the car and then we walked along the beach to apparently go meet his brother....which was made up, so he pulls out this long tackle thing he put together and said oh it's all tangled help me unravel it while he held his phone as a torch, so Im unravelling this long thing and i started feeling really nervous and thinking why is he acting weird and why would he have tied all this together....not like him.....as I got to the end there was a tiny paper inside that said will you marry me....i nearly fainted lol, when I turned around he was on his knee with a box and ring. There were many tears. This was after 11 years together. This was very sweet, personal and memorable to me. My hubby loves fishing and some of our most happy times were going fishing and camping so this was a very original and personal proposal, not to mention the time it took to tie 40 odd jelly tackle things together in a long line.....
Also, this was on a secluded part of the beach....neither of us like to be in the spotlight or have public attention so this was romantic and perfect. He also asked my dad for permission which was not necessary but sweet and respectful of him.
I think maybe have a chat to him about something that they enjoy doing together and incorporate that into the proposal. Think out of the box. If they enjoy staying home watching dvds maybe hire a dvd and take the disc out and put a ring inside and a slip of paper saying will you marry me and get her to "put the dvd in the player". Or if they like bike riding, put a note in her helmet so when she goes to put it on she feels something and pulls it out.....just incorporate the proposal into something that is "them".
I would hate to have ppl watching that moment i think its nice to have it just between the 2 ppl. My now hubby took me out to 1 of our fav restaurants for dinner then we just came home and he asked whilst we were snuggled up in bed. I got up to go to toilet and when i got back into bed the ring box was on my pillow. Nothing overly exciting or out there but the moment the man i love asks me to marry him is perfect regardless of anything else
I agree with B3cx. It depends on what she likes or something that's special to them both. It doesn't have to be anything grand.
My husband proposed on the beach of our favourite holiday spot. It has significance to his family as well as it's where his grandparents met. We spent the day out on a yacht and then came back to watch the sunset on the beach. If it was any other beach it wouldn't have been the same.
We had a friend who recently proposed at the place that his tool his girlfriend on their first date.
Tell him to think about what's important to your sister and go from there.
Very exciting though!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Maybe where they met? Somewhere special that they go? Doing something they love to do together?
