Urgent help- nappy rash/chaffing
Urgent help- nappy rash/chaffing
Hi girls we went swimming today and my 21 month old wore little swimmers. They have given him a terrible rash and chaffing in between his legs, I'm guessing they were a little big and then a long with the water they really irritated him. He literally cannot move and screamed 45 min straight. How do I get rid of it quickly?

Thanks ladies, I have put curash powder on for tonight and I will see how he is in the morning. He is not crying anymore so that's good. I will definitely give him some nappy free time tomorrow. Thanks for all your advice, I was in major panic mode before

Sudocreme and nappy free time.

I hope it's feeling better soon. Yes there's nothing worse than seeing your little one in pain.

Coconut oil

Desitin has the highest zinc content of the nappy rash creams. Lather it on liberally at every change. Lots of nappy free time. It should be considerably better in less than 24 hours.

Have you got cornflour in the pantry? That will work better then a talcum powder

I bathed him and then pat him dry. And put paw paw and curash cream but he was screaming in agony. I have him laying in bed now with his legs apart watching tv. I just asked my husband to get the curash powder I think that may help. Thanks Hun. Oh my gosh I just didn't know what to do. It's so hard when you see your baby in pain

Have you tried putting powder between his legs? Not sure if this actually good advice or not but I powder my thighs to stop chafing so hopefully it might help. Poor little man. Or a nappy rash cream maybe?
