Some advice please?!
I did my externship at OBGYN. I loved it. There is a medical assistant there who is now a nurse and she is applying for jobs at the hospital. When I left there they said I could work there per diem until she left then i could take her full time position. I declined because I’m looking for full time right now.
Had an interview at a cardiovascular center. Lot of paper work involved w this job. Lot of administrative work as well. I’m looking for something more clinical. Upside to this job is the pay is really good. $19/hr at 40 hours a week.
I’m not sure what the pay is at my externship site but i know it’s less. Probably closer to $15.
I’m wondering if i should suck it up and deal w cardiology for the money, or work per diem at a job i like with a likely decent pay cut.

I think you should go for what you love, money is nice and all but if you don't like what you do, you'll end up loathing going to work everyday.

Personally, money is the bigger picture, but will you actually enjoy it? Like if you have to work longer than you need to, would you be okay with it?

@littleonemorning, no i think i wouldn’t like it. Lot of paper work and phone calls. I’m not looking for a desk job! I want more patient interaction

@kellynicole, then I wouldn’t do it. Or at least do it until there is an opening for what you enjoy.
