Still co sleeping ??

My son is 9 mo now and he still co sleeps with me. (His dad works overnight) I want to transition him to his crib but every time I put him down to sleep, he cries and screams until I put him in our bed. I hate hearing him cry. Is there anything I can do to get him to fall asleep in his crib? Are there any resources that can help??

We're trying to stop co sleeping right now too . The only way I can get her in her crib was to push the crop up next to my bed she still wakes up at night and wants in my bed ? just taking it night by night

My son has always slept with me! I just started this week putting him in his crib (he moves around way to much now I don't get any sleep) I've tried in the past but he hated it and would cry and cry. I found giving him a little more bottle and having it completely dark in the room with the door shut has worked. He cried for about 30 mins the first night , 5 the second and didn't cry at all last night when I put him in. I make sure when he takes naps I put him in there as well so he gets used to it. Your best thing I think is to let him cry it out the first night and stick to it

I know a little late but we just got a projector/ lullaby and white noise thing so he can watch the images on the ceiling that seems to keep him content for a while. I think for us right now the key is getting him comfortable and spending more time in there

We have been co sleeping as well and I really want my space I've just been putting him in there awake and he may not fall asleep bit is getting used to being in there after he falls asleep I out him in there and he usually wakes up in the night and I get him a drink of water and he sometimes goes back to sleep sometimes not I think it's a process and he's been in the crib a lot more lately

I guess you waited to long for the transition... I think it will be easier to wait until he is 18 months and you start transitioning to his toddler bed, if you don't want him to cry... I'm like you ... it breaks my heart to hear my girls cry, that's why I didn't cosleep, I did with my older daughter and I better don't tell you when she finally slept through the night by herself in her room, because you are going to hate me if I tell you ?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

SLEEP TRAINING So.. we hired a sleep consultant to try to help our baby soothe himself to sleep and we got a sleep training plan for him. It's basically putting him down in his crib, sound machine on, and letting him cry for 3 minutes before going into the room to comfort him. The plan is to repeat this until he falls asleep by himself (which I believe will take us the whole night, if we are lucky) I tried something similar when he was about 2 months old. I started at 7 pm and gave in at 2 am with an angry, exhausted baby. At that point we were both crying! 😭 Some of you told me he was too young to attempt anything. Here I am, 2 months later, still bedsharing and nursing to sleep. I still wonder what is best for him and if he is still too little to make him go through that stress, even if it's 3 minutes at a time. Anyone who's been through this? I'd appreciate your comments.
