Help!!!
My 7.5 week old daughter is EBF and she won't take a bottle or a pacifier. She nurses all day long. I can't do anything without her screaming. Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks I'll try the Mams. I used a sample bottle with my son and it was so leaky. I might have better luck this time.
I was having the same problem. I tried so many different bottles and she didn't like any of them until I gave her the mam bottle.. it's the only one I can get her to drink out of when I need a break from her being on my boob. I bought the mam pacifier to try after she drank out of the bottle and she'll suck on it longer then any other pacifier.
I'm glad someone finally said it. I'm 8 weeks in ebf and I LOVE the closeness with my son and am proud that I am literally the only thing that has sustained his life since conception. However. Ebf has been miserable when it comes to pain. Sometimes I wish I never started because now I feel obligated to stick it out. I mean I've gone this long why quit now. We have had private lactation consultants and breastfeeding support groupss and a lip & tongue tie revision with no relief. Why did no one tell me it would be this hard.
Dad tried giving her a bottle when I was in the shower and she wouldn't take it. We also tried the pinky trick and that only lasted about 10 seconds. Sometimes I wish I never started breastfeeding.
Thanks mamas. She has to be really sleepy to be in her swing or bouncer. I can wear her for a few minutes, but since she always wants to nurse I have to figure out how to nurse her in the wrap.
I'm going through the same thing. Luckily she will sleep in her bouncer at night ( swaddled and in a deep sleep). She also likes to be worn. I have a toddler so sometimes she needs to be put down and just cry for a few minutes. She will also sleep on some people but only if she's really tired.
I have no advice but wanted to let you know you're not alone
You have to twist the bottom because that opens up too.
