Breastfeeding working moms
Has any breastfeeding moms gone back to work yet? I'm supposed to be going back to work on February 3rd, but I can't get any milk stashed. My baby is glued to my boob almost 24/7. I can't even take breaks to eat or go to the bathroom without her screaming. She's 6 weeks old today and has been like this since the day she was born. She won't take a pacifier and she won't sit in her bouncer or swing. I don't know how I'm going to be able to pump enough milk. Someone please help!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I have a little silicone "pump" that I suction onto the other side while she's nursing to catch my letdown. I usually get 0.5-1 oz at a time so I wait till I get 2oz and freeze it for when I go back to work. My daughter tends to cluster feed in the evening so I just use it in the morning or if i feel really full. I think the name brand is haaka but I ordered a zerlar (I think that's the off brand) for like $11 on Amazon. I love it!
