I got a pap at mine. It was terrible. I had some bad tearing down there and when she used the spreader thing for the pap, it stretched all the wrong spots and hurt.
Everything else was fine. Just normal checking the uterus and a short breast exam. And then we had a short discussion about birth control. That was it.

I was surprised at mine. I did a mental health questionnaire, she checked my incision (Csection) and discussed birth control. No vaginal exam and she did not push on my stomach to make sure my uterus was back to normal size. It was surprising because I thought she'd still do those things even though I had a Csection..
I got a pelvic exam, pap, and breast exam. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. She then talked to me about BC and counseled me to ease back into sex since things can be dryer down there for a bit and to be cautious since my episiotomy was still healing.
Mine did a pap and breast exam (she did the pap bc I was already there, and due in a year so why not). Answered all my questions, and asked about my mental and physical state. We chatted about the changes, and she doted over my son lol. And told me I was clear to start BC and resume normal life but to ease into it. Also told me I could get vaginal estrogen if I needed it for dryness during sex and that they are still there to help me however I need despite not being pregnant. Hoping I don't!
Get on birth control if that's the plan, check and make sure everything is healed. Maybe a pap and breast exam. Ask how you're feeling, mentally and physically, see if you're having any breastfeeding problems.
My doc just did a pelvic exam and felt my tummy to see how my uterus shrinking and talked to me about birth control. That's it. My doctor keeps it short and simple.
