I went to go get an ultrasound today at 35w2d and I heard some pretty bad news. I was told my baby is too small weighing in at 4lbs 9oz. And I was also told that he has a heart defect. They couldn't give me any details about the defect so they're sending me to Johns Hopkins Thursday and I'm going to start having twice weekly NSTs. He mentioned hydroplastic but the other tech disagreed and said its something else. Idk what to expect... Please keep us in your prayers.

Thank you. I posted an update on another thread. John's Hopkins confirmed the heart defects and said that they are serious av canal defects

@obodie no i never got one. They said I already got my two early on in the ER so on couldn't get one unless it was necessary.

@obodie it was just discovered today. My last ob ultrasound was when I was 11 weeks in the ER and they said everything was normal.

I am praying for you! I saw the doctors at Hopkins as well for a suspected AVSD at 20 weeks. It turned out everything was okay but I wanted to tell you that the doctors and facilities there are amazing. I hope you get good news momma!!
