Have you all started thinking about your LO birthday? Are you having a party? If so what themes have you thought about.
Being as tho I'm pregnant do you think I should stay home during my boyfriends birthday party ? It'll be drinking and partying and I'm jus big and it'll prolly make me uncomfortable . What would you do ?? Let him have fun without you or jus be pregnant at a party ?
School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
Can someone give me an idea of a birthday party budget? Like if you have done a second birthday party how much of a budget did you set?

We are doing a get together at our place. I plan to order her outfit from Etsy. If the weather is nice then we want to rent a small jump house and cook out. Our theme will be spongebob.

Wow. I feel like the most slacker mom ever.
No party. We'll probably just stay home with her.
My plan was to send out requests to family and close friends to each write her a letter to be opened when she is 18. I'm sending a self-addressed stamped envelope with it so it's a little easier to do.
I'll let the grandparents and aunties know that they are welcome to come over if they like, but we're keeping it super laid back.

@stephanie nah you're not a slacker lol truly they won't remember their first birthday anyways. I love the idea for the letters! I may ask people to do that.

I'm just gonna have a get together at my house probably. I don't want to spend money on a venue since she's so young. I like the idea of a mermaid theme, but she likes Minnie Mouse too
