I️ need to stick to some program to get her to sleep without the boob. It’s hard though bc I️ need to be consistent and I️ can’t do that when my husband is home in the daytime bc he does not let her cry at all. I️ hate hearing her cry too but I️ think it’d be best in the long run. Having back up is def nice!
I️ found my daughter just sitting up in her crib last night looking around at 4am. We are in a one bedroom condo and she is in the room with us. She saw me get up to use the bathroom and started screaming of course. But I’m like ‘what is she doing just sitting up looking around at 4am and not sleeping!’ ??♀️??♀️ but her being able to sit up makes it harder for her to sleep on her own. ?
mine wakes every 3 hours or so. he sits up and whines and sometimes slaps me ?. we nurse back to sleep. 99.9% of the time he falls right back asleep after 3 minutes or so and so do i.
Firstbaby we can rock him to sleep using a dummy if he's not hungry (or if it's not a designated feeding time at night) - he's not really hungry half the time, just wants cuddles and comfort. Dummy is just a different prop really, so we'll be trying the sleep lady shuffle to try to teach him to settle himself - think we're in for a long hard slog though, he's going to resist.
Must be tough on you during the night being on your own - I do 99% of night wakings but I do like knowing I have my husband as a back up in case I'm having a really hard time
Clarefin— we also have a serious boob to sleep problem. Idk how I’m going to break it bc my husband works nights and no one can put her to sleep but me. Because I have the boob, I can’t rock her or do anything else to put her to sleep. She screams her head off. Idk what I’m going to do!
When I tried reintroducing dairy into my diet his sleep went to pot, and didn't recover til I'd been dairy free for about a week... And by recover I mean back to only 3-4 wakings per night ? Planning to try some sleep training in a week or so after my husband gets back from a work trip - baby has been fed to sleep from day 1 so we have a serious boob to sleep problem!
I thought mine had finally started doing it..3 nights in a row he didn’t wake up. Last night he was up every 3 hours again. It’s killing me! I know he’s capable of it, now he just needs to be more consistent ?
What have you ladies tried in order to help your lo? I may actually be going crazy at this point and I'm wondering at what point I wonder about food allergies or intolerance. Or my kid just sucks at sleeping ?
Mine. And it’s been worse this last week with him being sick. Every little cough he was waking up screaming. Not fun at all. I probably had 1-2 nights of good sleep since he’s been born.
My LO just started to sleep through the night I think I got my first full sleep the other night since she was 4 weeks old! Teething is not fun! I found she did sleep better in her own room x good luck!
Not even close over here. Like no glimmer of hope. Sometimes he can wake up 4 times per night or more ?. Its honestly the worst thing ever.
Pic for attention. Does your 4 month old baby sleep through the night?
when did you little one start sleeping through the night? When did yours?
