My hospital does a compulsory assisted hatching with FET. They did assisted hatching for my 3 day embryos and transferred it the next day. So I had two 4 days embryos transferred more than two weeks back and am 5 weeks pregnant now .

Thank you ladies and preggo-anastazia I'm hoping to do a fet as well. I want to let my body rest before I put it though anything else. I'm also really scared of getting another BFN. If all goes well we will do a fet but if the embryo's cannot make it to freeze then we will do a fresh transfer.

I've always had assisted hatching done. I have had successful pregnancies and BFN cycles so I don't really know how much it had to do with anything. From what I was told with frozen embryos they can have a harder outer shell, also with PCOS you can have a harder outer shell which can make it difficult to hatch on own. I've only had success on FET's and I have PCOS so I'm thinking the assisted hatching probably helped somehow.

I haven't done it but do think that it could be beneficial. I'm considering it for our next try.

Sorry but what is assisted hatching

I am doing it next week with my FET. My doctor was pretty adamant to do it so we decided too. I hope it works for you this time!! This is my first try.
