Lupron Side Effects Hello ladies,

Jsrg27- three months seems like a lot! Why such a long lupron protocol? It can cause eggs or lining problems...

The dr said its to help my endometriosis-it will suspend everything and get my follicles in order. She said she normally does just one month of Lupron, but since my endo is so bad I'm having to do it for three months.

And my IVF cycle will be in August

I believe that I'm on Lupron for about 11 days while stimming. I started them yesterday and have taken 3 shots so far and feel good. I really hope that it stays like this.

May I ask why you are on Lupron for 3 months? That seems like a very long time. Have you started your ivf cycle yet?

I'm so glad you posted this! I just got my Lupron a couple of days ago and been wondering the same thing.

The nurse told me I'd feel more of the side effects by the second month. (Headache, weight gain, mood swings).

How many months will you on it?

3 months of Lupron for me.

I was bloated too.

Dull headaches at the end of the day. I was very tired when I was on 20 units. But when I reduced to 10 I was normal again.

I too have taken Lupon and expected crazy side effects however I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't feel very much different than I normally did.

Thank you ladouce26! I'm ok with water retention an bloat it's the mood swings and crazy way that I felt on Clomid that scares me. Clomid was the worst and I swear I'll never take it again! :) Thanks again and I wish you all the best with your FET:)

I'm taking lupron for my FET. Its making me tired with water retention/bloat. Clomid was the devil, it made crazy emotional and moody. Ugh!

Yay, congrats cphelps89! That's awesome! Clomid gave me vision problems as well. It made me very sensitive to the sun and made me feel crazy! Lol. I can deal with sore breasts all day. Thanks again and congrats!

Clomid gave me vision probs bit I didn't have any problems with Lupron. While taking it my boobs were really sore but that's about it. Now they're sore bc my ivf worked!
