IVF Medications and Side Effects

Today was a tough day for me. I have felt good the past few days with just a little headache here and there but then today it hit me. I was at work and all of a sudden felt nauseous and ran to the restroom and got sick. I'm feeling better now and really hope that it doesn't happen again.

Hang in there and your right that this will all be worth it:)

It's worth it though definitely! I go in tomorrow for another scan to see where my follies are :)

Oh no! I hope that you feel better asap! I am sorry that you are feeling all of the side affects :(

I am one of those unlucky people that if there is a side effect I tend to get it! So keep that in mind, but I have been very sick. Basically felt like I have the flu and am taking the same things you are. Also extreme fatigue, hot flashes, trouble sleeping, and horrible body aches! Good luck to you and hope you feel none of them! Baby dust to you!

I had terrible headache and hot flashes from the lupron and just real tired from the progesterone.

I didn't have any side effects other than being bloated.

I agree with all of these ladies. The progesterone shots after transfer make you tired and obviously sore. Try to drink Gatorade and work those sore spots out as much as you can.

Thank you Mrsmatt2010! You just made me feel much better! I'm worried about the hot flashes and headaches that I've heard come along with the Lupron. Again thank you:)

The worst of it for me was the injection and a little burning sensation. Otherwise there was no side effects. Towards the end of stims you may feel sore and bloated in your ovaries since you'll have extra eggs and fluid. Retrieval sucked for me and the day after. Typically by the 2nd day after retrieval I felt better.

I would too awalker:) I'm kinda terrified of all the meds to be honest. I just picked them up on Friday and it was literally a entire bag full and it was a big bag. Lol.
