Thank you all so much! I received my IVF calander and am really going to try and make this work. My new boss knows what I am going through because I told her after the interview when I accepted the job offer. I hope that I am not crazy for this one but we will see:) Thanks again!

I did IVF a while working full time. It is not as challenging as it seems once you get into it, but I can see where it can be! There are a lot of appointments, but in reality it only lasts for about 2 weeks or so. The most challenging part was taking a day off for retrieval and implantation and not knowing ahead of time when those will be. I planned all my ultrasounds in the AM and was barely late to work. We did have some challenges with timing of shots because hubby and I weren't together or something, but we made it work.

Does your new boss know that you are doing ivf, I worked full time but had to fill out fmla paperwork to make sure I didn't have to many occurrences that could jeopardize my job and I've been ther 2.5 years. I also work third shift. There were days that I was at the clinic for 2 hours waiting for my Bloodwork and ultrasound and I had to go everyday at the end so depending on your boss it might be to much time off.

I worked full time the first time I did IVF. Unfortunately I was working for my boss for a few yes already, so I was able to be honest about going thru IVF, and while I always scheduled my appts early morning before work, he was understanding of I happened to be late one day!

I started a new job jan 14 but didn't start ivf process until my probation period was up. I ended up having a frozen embryo transfer on 12/1/14 I am currently 25weeks 6days pregnant..I work 35 hours a week which is considered full time..

No, you are not crazy! It sounds like you are trying to help with your success by downsizing your work load.

If you have a flexible boss, it is possible to do IVF while working full time. Good luck :)
