This is from Monday when we drove home from the hospital with baby #4! ?? She came unexpectedly early at 37 weeks. I'll post a few photos of Haley for you special ladies. Love this group, you are such an encouragement! Oh, and the quote from my husband must be repeated right after Haley was birthed, "That labor was so easy for me let's go for a 5th!" He really made me laugh!
OMG!!! I was at that skating rink every weekend growing up?... I grew up here too. Moved around a lil bit, in between Woodstock and Gainesville. Decided to stay in Cumming.
I've seen the virtual tour of NS. Forsyth, and it looks so nice.. the big tubs in the delivery room, looking forward to laboring in the water.. wish they allowed water births like north Fulton.
@ivegot8 I delivered my first in Forsyth.....spa! It's beautiful. You will love it. I'm with Nile midwifery and I had been with Intown for 2 and I forget my ob practice name for the first-sean Lambert and Gary siegal were the docs. I'm off exit 7, so about 18 miles from that hospital. I used to roller speed skate for years at the roller rink that was torn down to build that hospital. I grew up off Haynes bridge. Did you grow up here?
@ivegot8 you live in Roswell right? Me too! I delivered at North Fulton hospital for the first time and it was a really great experience. So glad #10 is on the way!
Well the funniest part was when I was in transition and almost to pushing and I was in the shower, moaning out a contraction. Jack was at the bathroom door and said, "That was perfect! You started moaning right when I put this delicious Dove Dark Chocolate with Caramel into my mouth and I was like, ohh, ohh ohhhhh too!" I was like, " we were moaning for completely opposite reasons!!!" Then I was laughing at him.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@ivegot8 we probably know some of the same people since I'm 37, pretty close in age. I just skated on the team and didn't do the sessions, only did the sessions at Roswell Roller rink growing up. Cumming was a different place back then, and I'm so glad it's become multicultural and up to speed with the rest of the world, so to speak.
The hospital is so nice, you will love it. The nursing staff was so friendly. I couldn't get in the tub w my birth, which I was totally looking forward to, bc my water had broken, and that's their policy. But you are a pro at birth, I'm assuming, so you'll be just fine! Have your births been similar experiences? Mine have all been different! I wish all mine were like my last baby #4!!!
