it's budget time!
Hey friends- I am curious for those of you with 3+ kiddos what your budget is for groceries a month. We shop costco and kroger. We eat super healthy and that can get pricey! I am planning my budget for the year and wanted to be realistic. Last year our average was $700/mo (includes anything u buy at grocery store) so we spent 550-800 depending on the month.
I just went to costco and trader joes today. It was about $700. That does not include eating out or a few things I get from the grocery store. I would say we spend about 1,400 to 1,600 a month on groceries. I try to buy as much organic as possible. We also eat out a lot. We spend too much on food...
Wow! Everyone is a lot less than I expected. Thats fantastic ladies. I have tried to menu plan in the past but my husband hates when I do. Weird huh? I was eating paleo so that was more expensive in the past. Totally different than what I grew up eating-lots of pasta and starches.

💬 I was 38 weeks & 2 days when my beautiful girl decided to come. It was at 12:30am when I got my first contraction. I try taking a bath to be sure I was contracting & it wasn't Braxton hicks. When I realize how frequent the pain was coming I knew that it was the day she was coming. I called the hospital after two hours of cont...
I'm so annoyed!
Dd birthday party is on Sunday. We are having it at her gymnastics gym because they have bounce houses and trampolines. This year we decided to keep it smaller. My SO is one of 5 siblings and they all have 1-3 kids each so keeping it small is kind of impossible and it can get pricey! Well the gyms rule is they have a 10 kid maximum allowed for liability purposes. I sent out invites 5 weeks ago and asked everyone to RSVP which rarely happens. Between my family and his there were ...
I shop at Costco and for my family of 5 we spend 700-800 a month. We eat a lot of organic fruit plus my baby only drinks soy milk which gets pretty pricey and my husband eats 6x a day to maintain his muscle.
