My 11mo spiked to 103 on Saturday. Still at 101 now

@newlyironman, 😞 Aww, yeah, his highest was 103.6 last night. Right now we're about 102. I think it's an ear infection, he's only had a fever like this when he had an ear infection last summer.

My son has only had a fever above 101 from an ear infection as well. Hope your lo feels better soon!

@jewlmama, thank you. Turns out it's viral this time, so we're stuck just waiting for it to pass. I did learn that I can give him a bigger dose of medicine, though, so that'll help his fever!

Oh man, good luck girls.. my oldest son had a high fever like this when he was younger, 103 for 4 days, when it finally broke, he was covered in a rash.. they said it was a virus called Roseola. Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

You can also piggyback motrin and tylenol, ask the pediatrician about it, they are different meds. Dose of one, then 2 hours later give the other med so they overlap.

Thank you, piggy back is the only way his fever stays down! I think he burns it up fast. He had motrin around 230 and his temp is already back back up to 102.4

Oh man, poor baby!!! Maybe a nice bath will help? He he only wants to be held you can try to wipe him down with a washcloth. Oh goodness, this brings back memories.. I hate sick babies 😔
