I weaned my first at 4 months as he refused milk, my second I held of to a week before 6 months as I did baby led weaning, he wasn't sitting on his own properly till 7 months, its your baby hun you do what you knows best. Only thing I've found is my youngest is a much better eater and eats everything from blw, my eldest is 5 now and I put him on jars ect at 4 months and he's always been so fussy once he was on proper food and not jars🤦‍♀️xx

@leannethomas3101 don't listen to what people say they say 6 months but every child is different and if they Want food they will eat it there is only so much milk you can give them my son was a lot more happier when he started having food xx

@hollyxhunterx true!!N yeah think that's what I'm guna do start with little porrages n then a meal of some sort , then come 6month .... she be well away xx

I wouldn't worry what people think only you know what your child needs I started with lunch I did he would have the little fruit pots half of one then after a week or so I gave him a full one then after he was eating all that and having a bottle bout 3 he would want another bottle cum half four five so I then replaced that with dinner and so on so forth morning he would wake up at eightish he would have a bottle then breakfast half hour after he woke then lunch st half 11/12 bottle if he wanted at 1 if not then 3 then dinner by the time he got yo six months he was fully weaned and having little snacks just starting xx

@hollyxhunterx that's true hun!! N like u say why would there be foods saying 4 month and up if it wasn't aloud or wasn't good .... babys are all different... Just wanted to know what people would recommend in giving them xx

My son is three he was sitting up by 7months on his own crawling at 11 months walking at fourteen months nothing wrong with him every child is different if we all went by the book ect you'll still find 1/10 kids will all be different in sitting or an illness will happen sadly, if it was that bad they wouldn't have foods that say from four months onwards

So what would u do if ur baby hungry and screaming for more milk after 2 hours ??

Well I presumed it was okay my health visitor said I can , but if I was guna then try make my own I'm sure of ready made that was all she suggest really, I just wanted to know what other people did and what they thought it's been jst less than a week but it's working she doesn't seem to wanting a bottle every 2 hours, I try make her go 3 hours and just introduced food ( baby food ) like u say things change all time 6 months it's ment to be but I feel if I wait til then I'm guna have a hungry screaming baby wanting bottles even 2 hours xxx

I'm a big believer in holding off weaning for as long as possible. But from experience I've learnt every baby is different. Morgan was 6months as recommended because he was happy enough on milk. No way that was happening with Max! Guidelines change every year @nmarti95 It's important to be aware of them. But they are just guidelines. I always advise to research before making any decisions.

I did with Max when he was about 4.5months. For the opposite reason though. He'd always been a hungry baby from birth then he the opposite way. He was refusing milk or barely drinking. He lost a lot of weight. Anyway I just offered him baby porridge once a day for a while. Little bits of yoghurt here & there. After a few weeks I then did fruit & veg. Once he got to 6months I did blw.

Yeah she will my son eats loads now and he is nearly 8 months and he's not a fussy eater xx

Awwh, see i was abit scared if i over feeder her but she's just wanting food all the time but it's seemed to work , il leave her for 1 meal a day aswell as bottles for a few week and then go to 2 meals a day

At least by time she 6 month she be well away😊xx

I did with my son when he was 4 months. I started him with breakfast then a week later introduced a 2nd meal and he was soon having 3 meals xx

I did when my son was four months we started with one meal lunch and the slowly went onto more like u my son was just constant by the time he was six months he was having three meals a day and two or three bottles his now three and just don't stop eating still 😹😹
